How Davaoeños Said #YesToJollibeeBurgerSteak

I'm sure you would agree that it's easy to say "yes" to food especially if it's being offered by a Filipino brand that everybody loves at no cost at all. And I'm talking about what else? The ever popular Jollibee.

Just last week, the Jollibee Burger Steak truck arrived here in the durian capital to allow Davaoeños to experience the 100% beefy-linamnam, saucy-sarap Jollibee Burger Steak free of charge.  And as expected, the Davao leg of  the Jollibee Burger Steak sampling tour was a hit among young professionals.

Jollibee’s Say #YestoJollibeeBurgerSteak nationwide sampling tour in Davao took place on September 27 in two locations - at the Abreeza Corporate Center from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and at the Damosa IT Park in Lanang from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Hundreds of free burger steak meals were served hot in these locations.

Davaoeños, mostly BPO employees and students, eagerly flocked to both venues to avail of the Jollibee Burger Steak. This burger steak, according to endorser Anne Curtis, is definitely “bagay na bagay (goes well) with rice.”  The perfect combination of 100% beefy patty, flavorful mushroom gravy and rice is a definite treat for all tummies.

Participants also took turns in taking selfies at the sampling truck with the Jollibee mascot which they then shared on their social media accounts using the hashtag #YestoJollibeeBurgerSteak.

Of course, I also had my photo taken with Jollibee.
The goal of the Jollibee Burger Steak nationwide sampling tour is to reintroduce the favorite classic meal to the younger population. Being so affordable at only P50, it is the perfect meal for their fast-paced lifestyle. "It makes it very accessible as a regular dine-in or to-go meal,” said Kat Silvoza, Brand Manager for Burger Steak.

The Davao leg of the tour is the third of a series of nationwide sampling activities, following its launch in Makati City in early September of this year.

I'm pretty sure many Dabawenyos are already big fans of this beefy-linamnam and saucy-sarap Jollibee Burger Steak. It is available for dine-in, take-out, delivery, and drive-thru transactions, with prices starting at P50.00 for the solo meal.
