DBS Grand Ball 2017: Truly A Night Worth Remembering

Glitters. Glamour. Grand. Not a showbiz event but definitely, one that we really looked forward to attending. That's the Davao Bloggers Society's Grand Christmas Ball 2017.

It was on December 2nd when the DBS bloggers dressed to the nines in accordance to this year's Christmas party theme. We gathered at the Home Crest Hotel's ballroom together with special guests to celebrate the holidays in advance and most especially, to know the winners of the Davao Blog Awards 2017.

This is only my second Christmas party with my DBS family and as I always say, there's never a dull moment with these young people passionate about blogging and vlogging. From start to finish, the gathering was full of life with every one going home happy and with a bag of goodies plus freebies courtesy of our generous sponsors and partner brands.

As in any grand event,  we also had our best dressed male and female stars for the night who received special prizes. From the four initially chosen by the officers, the ones who emerged the winners were Joseph Lim and Athina Angliongto.

For the Davao Blog Awards 2017, the blogger who went home with the most awards was Jexx Hinggo of JexxHingo.com and DavaoFoodLover.com. We believe he deserved all the recognition for his effort in producing his blogs and vlogs and sharing them on social media. The awards he received were for Blogger of the Year, Best Food Blog and Best Video Channel.

Congratulations to all the winners!! You all deserve the award. Thank you also to everyone who nominated my blog in the Gateway category. It's already a blessing to be a finalist.

Our DBS Grand Ball ended on a high note with lots of dancing and more picture-taking happening. I went home thankful and joyful that night with lots of goodies. Got lucky that my name was picked several times in the raffle (yay!!).
