Musical talent is overflowing in the Davao region. The latest proof of this is the presence of Davaoeños in the grand finals of Asia's Got Talent who showed their skills in beatbox and dancing. Kudos to Neil Llanes for placing 3rd and DMX Comvalenoz who got the 2nd spot. From the start, they have captivated the hearts of the judges and the audience and it's no surprise why they've made it to the finals.
Neil Llanes first competed in Asia's Got Talent in 2015 when he was 19 years old and still a college student. That time, he was already among the top competitors but since his studies came first, he had to cut short his participation. Although being in AGT was a dream come true for him and an opportunity to help his family financially, he decided to stop to take his final exams in school.
This year, he didn't let another opportunity go by and once again, auditioned for Asia's Got Talent. As expected, he passed with flying colors and easily moved to the next levels up to the finals after winning the hearts of the judges and the audience.
I have personally witnessed this young lass showcase his beatbox skills during Apo View Hotel's 70th anniversary and relaunch in October. Indeed, he is one amazing human beatbox talent who deserves recognition.
Check out this AXN video of his performance during the Asia's Got Talent finals.
DM-X Comvalenoz
The DM-X Comvalenoz is an all-male dance group from Compostela Valley in Davao del Norte. They are known for their cross-dressing acts and high-flying stunts. According to the members, they did not get the full support of their parents until they passed the audition and were invited to compete in Asia's Got Talent this year.
Watch the final performance of the group in this AXN video. An entertaining number indeed and one that deserves to win.
